Happy New Year!

I am looking forward to a new year with new challenges. I am just about to start painting on my current tree assignment. Stay tuned for more info! 🙂

Are you curious about what your family tree could look like? Don’t hesitate to contact me on anna@geneamurgia.com.

I wish you all the best and a fantastic 2018!

Order you Christmas presents in time!

Autumn is really here – even in Sardinia actually, with rain, wind and cold! And Christmas is just around the corner – I know, it’s a bit too early to talk about it yet, but if you want to order a ready-printed ancestors’ tree, it’s time to order now if you want to get it before Christmas. If you would like one to fill out yourself the last day to order is Monday December 11 for guaranteed delivery within Sweden, Monday December 4 for delivery within the EU, and Monday November 27 for delivery to the rest of the world.
Ready-printed trees to fill out yourself, you order in my web shop at http://geneamurgia.tictail.com

If you, on the other hand, would like a filled out ancestors’ tree printed-on-demand, you only have this week! Last order is on Sunday November 11, and then I have to have all your material digitally on Monday November 20, and you need to be available to proof read until the 26/11 to allow you to get your tree printed and delivered to you before Christmas.
Filled out ancestors’ trees, print-on-demand, you order via e-mail anna@geneamurgia.com. What these trees look like you can see at http://geneamurgia.se/en/bestalla-slakttrad/. You can also choose to get the trees in the web shop filled out and printed-on-demand, just ask about the price via mail.

My large custom-made trees have somewhat longer delivery times, but are you curious about a customized tree, don’t hesitate to contact me at anna@geneamurgia.com, for delivery in the spring and summer 2018. Examples of custom trees that I have previously painted you can see at http://geneamurgia.se/en/tradgalleri/

Job hunting

I am a graphic designer and illustrator and since 2005 I have been running my own production and communication agency, Murgia Grafica, where I mostly work online, with my clients elsewhere. Another part of my business is Genea Murgia where I offer hand-painted family trees and other genealogical illustrations for people and companies interested in family, genealogy and history, all around the world. This work too, I do remotely.
This summer I moved with my family to Italy, and we are now stationed in Mogorella (OR), Sardinia. Therefore I am looking for assignments I can perform online, for 4-20 hours a week, for at least a year, before we get our new business here (Casa Murgia, Mogorella) off the ground, and I am very excited about all possibilities of working from home. I am both interested in employment and consulting, within graphic design, desk top publishing, illustrations, as well as administration. If you don’t wish to employ, I can invoice my hours instead.
CV and references are available on request.
Feel free to share! 🙂
Meanwhile I am enjoying lilacs blooming in October and wishing you a Happy Halloween!

10-year anniversary!

This year I have had my company for 10 years! I cannot possibly understand where time went, but apparently it did! 🙂

I’m not going to throw a huge party, as I have a ton of projects in the pipeline right now, but I may come back with some celebration in the fall. 🙂

Until then, I would like to give you all something small to celebrate with! For every one who orders something from my new web shop I offer a 50% discount until June 30th. Take a peak in the shop and see if there is anything you like. All products are shipped world wide. A shipping fee will be added. Keep a look out for new tree models in fall! 🙂

If you are interested in my large customized family trees feel welcome to take a look in the Gallery, where you can see examples of other trees that I have painted.

OK, so now both the exhibition at SGF’s (The Skåne Genealogy Association’s) yearly meeting in Lund, on the  28th of March and SFD2015 (the Swedish Genealogy Days in Nyköping 29-30 o f August) are booked. I’ll see you there! 🙂

So I’m busy updating business cards and flyers and testing new technology. Since I am traveling to the Swedish Genealogy Days by train for the first time (not by car) I have to drastically reduce my packing… It will be interesting to see how that goes. 🙂

See you in Karlstad!
